Welcome to the web page for the East Jackson District and West Jackson District of the Mississippi Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our two districts sit side by side along the Interstate 55 corridor as it winds through Jackson and the central Mississippi region. We share office space and other resources as we try to be good stewards of the apportionments entrusted to us by the local churches.

Through this site, you can find contact information for the District churches and pastors, calendar items, and links to other helpful websites. Thank you for coming by.

Blessings,

Giles Lindley, East Jackson District Superintendent

Willis Britt, West Jackson District Superintendent

Words for the Week

"Stresses on the economy constrict our vision, dampen our hopes, weaken our faith. The message we bear is God's good news: there is more than enough. There is abundance. We find ourselves as we lose ourselves. We are enriched as we are generous."

                                                                ~Bishop Hope Morgan Ward
